MeasureNet Network Controller
At the heart of a MeasureNet network is The Network Controller. Inside
is a high speed microprocessor running a REAL-TIME, MULTI TASKING
environment with 512K bytes of memory for data storage. It monitors
the activity at all twelve independent stations and temporarily
stores any data collected by each station. It also communicates
with the PC for printing or permanently storing data. The personality
of The Network is determined by the software on the PCMCIA memory
card. Inserted into the controller's front face, the card
provides station interfacing and functionality. MeasureNet users
benefit from free annual software upgrades via this card that support
new probeware and features.
